They say, “when what you hear and what you see doesn’t match, trust your eyes”, but then aren’t there certain things in the world that can easily be felt, you hear them whispering, you feel them moving, you just can’t deny their existence but your eyes fail to acknowledge what your senses feel.
There are so many people who have lived and died before you, so there is hardly a new question, a new theory. Somebody has already written down all the answers somewhere but one of the few questions that haven’t been satisfactorily answered is “how do we justify the existence of things that our eyes cannot see”?
Have you seen life? Like literally have you ever seen life? Maybe you will answer yes; you must have seen a bud turning into a beautiful flower, children playing, but then aren’t all these different shades of life? And not life itself? We know what life is made up of, we know how we live our lives, we know how to end the life, but life itself is a question.
Life is like wind and who has seen the wind? Neither you nor I, but the trees do bow down their heads when the wind is passing by. Similarly, we haven’t seen life yet we live to live it.
2. Gravity
Scientifically, gravity is a natural phenomenon by which all things with mass gravitate towards each other. You must have felt gravity, must have seen how gravity works, personally, I have taken certain falls to experience gravity, but then gravity itself can’t be seen.
Even we human beings experience gravitation among ourselves, we call it “infatuation”. Infatuation is nothing, but just two masses gravitating towards each other. An intense, but the short-lived passion you feel for someone, difficult to explain and impossible to see.
3. Seclusion
What did you answer last time when someone asked, “how are you”? Fine, isn’t it? That’s the norm, right? But then were you really fine that time? Or every time you say so! People can see our faces but not what we are going through. So, what do we do? We seclude!
A synonym for loneliness, seclusion can be seen, but a little more than often we fail to see the reason behind seclusion. We fail to notice the changes a person undergoes before secluding.
Seclusion is basically a state of being private and away from other people. It’s like shutting down from the society. Many people who are clearly extroverts in their social life turn introverts in their personal lives.
4. Faith
5. Emotions
We experience a spectrum of emotions be it rage, love, infatuation, hatred, or jealousy. We surely see and observe the events driven by these emotions but emotions themselves are difficult to see. It’s both a blessing and a curse to experience something so deeply that it’s difficult to explain and almost impossible to see.
All these above-mentioned things do actually have one thing in common: they always need a medium to quantify them! Pause for a while and think, you will certainly agree to this fact. And wait, the medium is mostly the same: the eyes. So, what’s the trick? Ever tried reading others’ eyes? When you master it, probably that day you will surely be able to see these extraordinary things!
