This man has taken piercing and other forms of “body art” to bizarre lengths — including making enormous holes in his cheeks and splitting his tongue.
A 23-year-old body art enthusiast has created giant holes through his cheeks with a side view of his teeth. Joel Miggler, a German model, said he had been experimenting with different ‘art’ since he was 13 years old.
This young man’s disturbing “addiction” has landed his name in the record books – but at a gruesome cost to his face. The German, who goes by the name Bodymoded Punky on social media, began with his ear lobes.
“I started at 13 years of age with stretching my lobe and the first body modification was a cutting on my back when I was 18,” he said. He then forked his tongue, then somehow it morphed into stretching his cheeks in to two giant holes. Since then, Miggler has undergone 25 piercings of all shapes and sizes, He also has a multitude of tattoos.
Probably the most bizarre features are his enormous cheek holes — one on each side of his face. And he wants to make them even bigger. “They have no special name, I guess you can call them stretched or big cheeks,”he said. “I’ve cut them 3 times and stretched them many milimetres. They are now 36mm wide.” His goal size is 40mm.
The grotesque look doesn’t put off his girlfriend, who is also into body modification. and eating with three mouths doesn’t seem to be a problem either.
“The jewellery doesn’t touch my teeth and makes no problem with eating and drinking. I only can take smaller bites than before.” He does, however, have plugs to close the holes if necessary — for example, when eating soup.
Mr Miggler said: ‘When I walk around on the street, people only stare or sometimes ask me questions if they are interested in my jewellery. “It is only on social networks that they mostly discriminate, insult and offend me.”
