Everyone in this world needs money to live happily. People must also know that, money is not the only thing in this world that can make them happy and they should not be craving for money. Most people don’t understand this simple thing and do many sorts of things to get the money that is needed for them.Begging is one type of activity, where a person can get money very easily.

Recently, in Kuwait, a man was arrested by the Kuwait police for begging in spite of the fact that he had amount of 5,00,000 Kuwaiti Dinar( over 10 crores) in his local bank account. The person who doesn’t belong to Kuwait,  was caught near a mosque when he was begging and he was remanded in custody. It has been quoted by many reports that, begging is very lucrative activity for many persons from other countries, in the Gulf countries.

Khaleej Times, a leading newspaper from the Gulf quoted saying that, service men were guarding the area when they saw a man standing near mosque, begging for money. Further that man told the people who came to mosque, that he had no money and needed it badly and also he did not have a house to live.

The sources stated that, the foreigner was arrested by the police as he was breaking the law, and was taken to Al Ahmadi police station for investigation. It was found that he had more than 5,00,000 Kuwaiti Dinar( over 10 crores) in his bank account in a local bank. Other members of Gulf Cooperation Council GCC like Bahrain, Saudi, Qatar,Oman, UAE along with Kuwait  does not allow begging.

Moreover in the month of Ramzan, when all sorts of people including locals as well as foreigners involve themselves for charitable purposes and donate money they have with them thereby resulting in zero tolerance towards begging of money and it was as promised by the people.

For harassing people for money,22 people begging in Kuwait were expelled that included some Asian based people also. This happened in the month of April 2015. As according to  a spokesperson from social affairs ministry of Saudi Arabia, people from other countries made up for 85% of all beggars and rest were citizens of Saudi Arabia. Certain funnier things had also happened before in 2012 in the city of Kuwait , when an expatriate dressed up as women begged  and got  arrested by the police.
